The conference becomes a concert and the magic of the launeddas descends on Carbonia.

It is due to the special lectio magistralis of Marco Lutzu , ethnomusicology researcher at the University of Cagliari , author of field research in Sardinia, Cuba and Equatorial Guinea, attentive lover of the relationship between music and religion, improvised poetry, ethnomusicology, organology and hip hop , and scientific director of the Encyclopaedia of Sardinian Music (L'Unione Sarda).

With the participation of the player Andrea Pisu , the debate, organized in the library of the University of the Third Age , resulted in a performance to the sound of applause on the sidelines of the debate in which the value of this millennial instrument used in the profane context emerged and religious as a soloist and in concord with multiple musical instruments.

In the researcher's stories it emerges how «the rite of laudeddas accompanies the most joyful moments of life in Sardinia such as the accompaniment of the spouses to the altar and the most sacred ones such as the liturgical and para-liturgical areas of the Holy Mass».
