The Domus match between Cagliari and Genoa ends without goals.
Ranieri relaunches Altare in a three-man defense and up front joins Luvumbo in Lapadula, with the support of Mancosu. Genoa takes the ball of the game, but not even the shadow of shots on goal. And so Rog takes all the attention, who first gets booked (11') and then is forced to give way to Kourfalidis (13') due to a physical problem.
The first shot of the first 45' comes after 31', when Genoa's Puscas wins a rebound and shoots with a right foot, Radunovic saves himself.
Cagliari's reply comes a few seconds before the interval, with a cross-shot from Kourfalidis, blocked by Martinez.
In the second half, Nandez took over from Goldaniga and the match changed. Cagliari puts up to four and, after less than a minute, Luvumbo is shot down by Sabelli. The referee points to the spot, then, following a signal from the Var, corrects in a free kick.
In the 10th minute, a double bicycle kick first by Lapadula and then by Mancosu, with a winning header by Nandez, but the number 5 went offside and the goal was disallowed. Perhaps confusedly, but Cagliari attacks and Genoa must defend themselves. On 21' the referee Valeri stops due to a problem in his calf, replaced by the fourth official Monaldi. Ranieri removes Barreca and Mancosu, Azzi and Pavoletti enter.
In the 31st minute the thrill was given by Sturaro, who headed in from a corner action and grazed the post. And after 8' of added time, Cagliari and Genoa surrender to the final 0-0.
