Not just the Cagliari Football Academy . At the Unipol Domus , also yesterday, the presentation of the 24/25 season of the men's and women's Basic Activity of Cagliari Calcio took place. The Manager Mattia Belfiori , the general manager of the rossoblù Stefano Melis , the marketing manager Corrado Pusceddu and the manager of the women's sector Anna Piras officially inaugurated the new sports year, in front of over 150 managers, staff, athletes and their families.

During the presentation of the project, the Manager Belfiori explained the purpose of the activity: «Every day the staff work to achieve the best together with the children, the Basic Activity is the first step and therefore it is crucial for the growth and construction of the future. A job that is not easy, full of daily challenges, but which gives a lot of satisfaction». The General Manager Melis then echoed him, underlining how satisfying it is to see so much enthusiasm in the children and families who actively participate in this purpose: «We are happy to gather together like every year to start the season, even if in fact we have been working on the field for several weeks thanks to the commendable work of the technicians in carrying out the sports and social projects, because in the Basic Activity we work to build the footballer of tomorrow but first of all the individual in the community».

A special thought was then addressed, by the Head of the women's sector Anna Piras , to the families who work hard every day to allow their children to play sports: «Our thanks go to the families, we try every day to build something positive, beyond the mere result on the field, and it is a pleasure to see the desire of the athletes to always go a little further. The women's group has grown a lot over the years, we are writing important pages. We want to continue like this and if possible do better and better».

Several members of Banco di Sardegna also took part in the event, including Giannina Balia (Head of the Regional Directorate of Southern Sardinia), Emanuela Cambuli (Head of Communications), Antonello Maxia (Head of Corporate Territorial Southern Sardinia), as the new jersey sponsor of the Youth Sector and Basic Activities . Communications Manager Emanuela Cabuli emphasized how it is a source of pride to support Cagliari Calcio in this journey and how representing an entire Island and its people is a great responsibility.
Finally, before the party in the stadium hospitality, a final surprise with the arrival of Gianluca Lapadula and Fabio Pisacane for selfies, photos and autographs.
