The 2026 Budget is nearing approval in the Chamber, but amid controversy. Following yesterday's agreements , the opposition is not attending the session . One of the last items on the agenda was labor.
But this morning , Labor Councilor Desirè Manca was absent , busy at a conference in Oristano. "There's a serious lack of respect on the councilor's part. For days, we've been asking her to come to the Chamber to present the article, and she's been busy with other matters for days . Being a councilor doesn't mean traveling the world or making videos on social media. It's unacceptable that the councilor isn't present during a discussion on the budget law, made possible by the minority's responsibility. And it's unacceptable that the majority continues anyway," declared FdI group leader Paolo Truzzu.
