The Bogdanoff twins, French TV stars who became famous in the Eighties, died of Covid a few days later. The two, both graduates in science subjects, were not vaccinated. They were 72 years old.

The first to die was Grichka, on December 28 in a hospital in Paris. His agent announced it: "Surrounded by the love of his family and his family, Grichka Bogdanoff died peacefully on December 28, 2021 to join his étoiles", he said.

Today the same fate befell Igor, who ended up in hospital after contracting the virus, like his brother.

The two have known celebrities on TV since 1979, publishing simplification texts on complicated topics for the small screen such as physics, mathematics, science. Self-deprecating, often in front of the cameras dressed in futuristic clothes, the Bogdanoff brothers became the protagonists of programs for a generation of French, explaining the latest scientific discoveries and illustrating all the news of science fiction.

Born in the south of France from a Russian father to a mother descendant of the Austrian nobility, in the 90s they were the center of attention also for accusations of plagiarism and the propagation of false theories. Then a gradual transformation of their face, the very obvious change of connotations remained shrouded in mystery because they have always claimed not to have undergone plastic surgery.
