The ATP has confirmed Cagliari as the host of Challenger 175 for two years. This was announced by the President of the Tennis Federation, Angelo Binaghi, on the sidelines of the "Sport, Growth and Development" event in Cagliari, on the occasion of the first edition of the Gigi Riva Trophy, where he also had the opportunity to speak with the Minister of Sport, Andrea Abodi .
"The 2026 edition will be in May," Binaghi said, " hoping that the work on the Tennis Club will be completed by then . It's a prestigious tournament that in past years has seen champions like Musetti, Shelton, and Tiafoe take to the field."
