After a few days of interruption in Mandas the appointments with the fifteenth edition of the Lawrence Travel Literature Festival return. The event has now become a fundamental stop for culture and literature enthusiasts, for several years its goal - always right on target - is to promote slow tourism on the tracks of time and history. The Literary Festival and the Green Train are two aspects that blend together and give life to an extraordinary union. Indeed, Mandas is the terminus and departure station of the little green train, which runs along one of the most fascinating routes on the whole island: the Mandas-Arbatax.

Sunday 3 September, at 8.45 in the railway station "On the road, to tell us better" with Daniela Carta and at 9 the departure of the Green Train. At 6 pm Andrea Atzeni and Alessandro Garau present the book "Musica, Dimónios!: The story of the first Chief Music Officer of the Sassari Brigade". The key appointment (at 7 pm) is the assignment of the Lawrence Prize for journalism to Enrico Pilia with these reasons: "For his enthusiasm, his profound preparation, his ability to create through the communicative attitude made available by the first broadcaster television Videolina, and L'Unione Sarda, the island's first newspaper, the union of an entire population under the beauty of sporting values”.
