On Saturday 15 March at 5 pm, in the birthplace of Antonio Gramsci in Ales (Corso Cattedrale, 14), the Sardinian Institute for Anti-Fascism (Issasco), with the association dedicated to the author of the "Prison Notebooks", is promoting an open assembly on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation from Nazi-Fascism and to celebrate the 10 years of activity of Issasco himself.
Scholars and witnesses will discuss, proposing brief reflections and suggestions starting from life and family stories. The guiding theme will be that of the anti-fascist Resistance and the resistance to forms of oppression and compression of rights.
The Sardinian context, the stories of Sardinians and the international panorama, will represent the plural horizons within which the different open narratives will be articulated, also focusing on lesser-known or unpublished biographical aspects, on non-protagonist figures and necessarily not deployed on the front lines of the struggle.
Speakers include Giuliana Adamo, Francesco Bachis, Alberto Bocchetta, Angelo Dore, Walter Falgio, Ignazio Ibba, Peppe Manias, Marina Moncelsi, Daniele Sanna, Laura Stochino, Lorella Villa.
