With his voice breaking with emotion Mammucari – who never before had spoken so openly about his private life and his experience as a parent – told of when he did not see his daughter Julia, who was in Brazil with her mother, for three years .
«Once she told me that she was to blame for my illness, because if she hadn't been there I wouldn't have suffered so much. I replied that she is not “the problem”, she is my strength . And I understood at that moment that when you separate you don't have to think about your problems , you have to think about your children . That's the only way you can be a good parent.
