Lorenzo Carboni's journey continues in the ITF25 in Lesa.
On the Piedmontese red court, the 19-year-old from Alghero (number 563 in the world rankings) beat qualifier Denis Spiridon (1739 ATP) 6-3, 7-5 .
In the quarterfinals, Carboni will face the number 6 seed Giovanni Fonio (399).
