The RSU of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari attacks the superintendent Nicola Colabianchi, accused of "inaction" and "administrative inexperience", and asks for an immediate change of direction in the management of the institution. Otherwise he announces that "the opening of a conflictual season will be inevitable".

In a letter to the President of the Council of address Paolo Truzzu, mayor of Cagliari, to the councilors and to Colabianchi himself, the initials denounce a series of critical issues that he attributes to the current summit.

"Very modest audience attendance at the shows (the pandemic is an alibi no longer acceptable) - the unions denounce - an inadequate advertising campaign, the lack of a diversified and attractive artistic offer, the incomprehensible absence of a chamber music season, the counterproductive increase in the cost of tickets, the absence of a serious marketing project ".

The delay in the presentation of next season and the uncertainty about the programs for 2022 are also in the sights of the RSU.

"It is not known whether any project that affects the regional territory has been prepared, despite the fact that this activity is included in the Foundation's statutory purposes - explains the initials - There is no organic project that involves schools of various types and levels, despite being the were the natural catchment area of our future audience ". And again: "Unlike other lyric-symphonic foundations, international activity is totally absent and the aspect that worries most is the feeling that there is no serious intention to bring our theater, and with it the name / trademark of the Sardinia Region, outside the national borders ".
