The Forza Italia Sardinia congress confirmed Pietro Pittalis by acclamation as head of the party's regional secretariat.

In closing the proceedings, President and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani spoke of a "united congress born from internal discussion and pre-congress debate." A program built together, "starting from different ideas, but it is important to ultimately ensure the values to which we are committed prevail. If the differences lie in the ways to achieve a goal, then a synthesis can be achieved." And, Tajani added, "it was not difficult to facilitate mediation to jointly build a project that would allow Forza Italia Sardinia to return to its leading role and run for the leadership of this region in the upcoming elections."

"A congress marked by unity and concrete content," Pittalis confirmed. "There is a document drafted by those who represent the heart of the party in the professions, universities, and among young people." The secretary spoke of " reviving the party through work we will begin in all areas, also thanks to the positive results of the local elections."

On the political agenda are "the relaunch of autonomy, the principle of insularity to be fulfilled , an efficient healthcare system, maritime and air transport capable of meeting the needs of the Sardinians, and the Einstein Telescope project." Now, he concluded, "we are preparing for a serious alternative to this government."

Among the speakers was former governor Ugo Cappellacci : "It can happen that you don't agree with some decisions made within a room, but those who truly love this house don't weaken its foundations; if anything, they strengthen them. Unity is worth more than any difference." And, he clarified, "I am born, live, and will die with this symbol on my chest."
