Between January and February of this year in Sardinia the amount of jobs incentivized with the Superbonus increased by 35.7 percent compared to the end of 2021, with a national average of 32 percent.

According to data from the Sardinian Cna Study Center, as of February 28, 2022, the registered practices were 4,065, for an investment amount of 719 million, of which 474 for completed works.

But the propensity to use the Superbonus to intervene on the existing heritage is still low: only 776 buildings subject to intervention for every 100 thousand in existence. In 2021, the level of investments in building redevelopment stood at over 850 million, with a significant leap compared to 2020, yet there are margins for further expansion: total residential renovation on the island reaches 51%, compared to a national incidence of 68%.

"After a more positive start to the year than expected, the very delicate question of commodity price levels arises today - say Francesco Porcu and Antonello Mascia, respectively regional secretary of Cna Sardinia and president of Cna Costruzioni - A problem that involves the entire construction chain. If the procurement prices are not aligned with market values, the construction of infrastructural works and hundreds of construction sites are at risk. Also on the regional level, concrete actions are needed to avoid blocking the sector: Councilor Salaris apra a discussion table with businesses ".
