The Revenue Agency is preparing to send approximately 12,000 letters to taxpayers who have benefited from the Superbonus and who may not have updated the cadastral income of their properties.
"The goal is to identify those who, after benefiting from the incentive for building renovations, energy efficiency improvements, earthquake-proofing, photovoltaic systems, or charging stations," explains Michela Benna, board member of the Accountants' Pension Fund, " have not adjusted their land registry income to the value of their property ."
Recipients will be identified by cross-referencing the credit transfer option communications with the land registry database, verifying submission of the variation declaration.
"It's important to emphasize," Benna concludes, "that a cadastral change isn't mandatory for minor work, such as installing a boiler or re-roofing, but it becomes mandatory for significant work that alters the property's characteristics and value."
