He could receive the green light as early as tomorrow, with the go-ahead from the Council of Ministers, the extension of the Super green pass to work.

The reinforced pass (only for vaccinated and cured and not for those who undergo swabs) for workers convinces most of the business associations, but not all the unions, which instead ask the government to introduce, with an act of "responsibility" , the vaccination obligation for all.

Even between the CGIL, CISL and UIL the positions are different, with the first two acronyms that consider mandatory vaccination for all to be a necessary act; for the CISL, on the other hand, the strengthened green pass still represents "a step forward", even if "it is not enough".

In recent weeks Confindustria has repeatedly reiterated that it is in favor of compulsory vaccination but also that in the absence of the ability of the policy to introduce it, the Super green pass must also apply to the workplace.

Among employers, cooperatives support the vaccination obligation for all and say they are opposed to "half measures" such as the reinforced green pass because, declared the president of Legacoop Mauro Lusetti, "it would bring tensions and conflicts with workers without reaching the 'goal of fighting the pandemic ".

According to the president of Fipe and vice president of Confcommercio, Lino Stoppani, with the reinforced pass it would be possible to overcome "the anomaly of the Super green pass requested from customers in the face of a simple certificate requested from staff".

Some more doubts were expressed by Conftrasporto: "The vaccination obligation is welcome, but do not open disparities with foreign workers, it would be a 'hoax' for Italian companies".

Business associations also ask that any absences linked to the decision not to get vaccinated be taken into account, reducing the constraints on fixed-term contracts and overtime. "If the government, which has a more precise picture of the situation, believes that the introduction of the Super green pass can be useful in slowing down the race of infections and keeping activities open, we agree", Confesercenti said, although this decision "will not be painless" for the replacement of the personnel already decimated by the quarantines in these days.

The craftsmen of Cna are also in favor of the Super green pass for workers "in order not to extinguish - explained the president, Dario Costantini - the economic recovery, avoiding new restrictive measures that would have heavy negative repercussions on thousands of companies".

A more cautious position comes from Confartigianato, which reiterates the request for mandatory vaccination for all.
