Super Cup, Dinamo mocked
Virtus Bologna raises the trophy: 72-69. But the Sassari recriminate for the lost opportunity
An excellent match that just missed a couple of baskets from outside to win the third Super Cup. Instead in Brescia it is Virtus Bologna to prevail after having chased for a long time: 72-69 the final for Scariolo's team. Really a shame because the Sassari team was superior in quality of play for 35 ', but the defense of Virtus made the difference in the final, highlighting the disastrous evening of the outsiders in the three-point shot: 0/12 between Kruslin, Dowe and Jones.
