It will be another summer to frame for Italian tourism.

According to the forecast note by Demoskopika, there will in fact be as many as 68 million tourists who will choose Italy for their holidays in 2023.

In detail, almost 267 million overnight stays are estimated, with a growth of 4.3% and 3.2% respectively compared to the same period in 2022, marked by 65.2 million arrivals and 258 million overnight stays.

Positive effect also on tourist spending: estimated at around 46 billion euros, with a growth of 5.4% compared to 2022.

A comforting scenario also as regards incoming from abroad: in fact, 35.3 million foreigners will choose Italy, equal to just over half (51.7%) of the total figure for expected arrivals with 131.5 million attendance.
