Soru to Todde: «Alessandra, let's do the primaries: if you win I'll support you»

"I said no to the decision taken in Rome by the Democratic Party and in the end they not only didn't mention my name or anyone else: they only accepted the M5S candidate," Soru said on the radio, reiterating his desire for a transition through the primaries: «I wanted the primaries and I still want them. The candidate should also do some reasoning . I say that there is still time to find a common candidate, I don't necessarily have to be the candidate, the Sardinians must choose through the primaries."
Lauro and Cucciari continued with the usual barrage of questions between serious and half-joking. Soru said he has known Todde “for a long time and I have absolutely nothing against her. A ticket between us? She has a role in the 5S and is a parliamentarian, she doesn't have to make tickets. I think she could be governor but she would have to go through the primaries. And for this reason I tell her: Alessandra, let's hold the primaries and if you win I will support you with all the enthusiasm possible", he declared.
A question also on his political relationship with his daughter Camilla, who, siding with Todde, harshly criticized her father's candidacy, calling it "irresponsible": "Camilla has her ideas", said Soru, to add with a sly smile: "Friend of Todde? I think they didn't know each other but now it seems he has an irrepressible passion."
