Sonego defeated by Khachanov, comes out in the round of 16

Lorenzo Sonego comes out in the round of 16 at Roland Garros. The Italian, number 48 in the ATP rankings, was defeated 3-1 by Karen Khachanov.

The 28-year-old Russian, number 11 Atp, won 1-6, 6-4. 7-6, 6-1. During the last set Sonego accused a pain in his leg and asked for the intervention of the masseur.

In the next round Khachanov will face the winner between the Austrian Sebastian Ofner (118 Atp) and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (5 Atp).
