The commitment to convene tables on the most urgent issues and the agenda for next year of the legislature, the last.
These are the themes at the center of today's meeting at Villa Devoto between the governor Christian Solinas and the general secretaries of CGIL, CISL and UIL, Fausto Durante, Gavino Carta and Francesca Ticca .
The objective of the summit is "to deal with the various emergencies with a collaborative spirit and in the interest of Sardinia and the Sardinians". At the center of the meeting, the Region announced, "the issues that have the greatest impact on the system of families and businesses": purchasing power, health, work, energy .
And, of course, transport: «Sardinians who travel for work, study or health reasons must have the certainty of connections, of being able to travel at the same price, with the same frequencies, with planes that have a fair quality. We are working on this with the EU to make Brussels understand that the system of our island cannot be based on low cost alone ».
On the energy issue, Solinas insisted that the island cannot become an energy colony. Health and services chapter: «It is wrong – the governor highlighted – to think of homologating a country that has its strength in its diversity. The needs, even in the health sector and in the provision of services, in Sardinia are different and have different costs ».
"We welcome the renewed willingness of the President of the Region to initiate a phase of confrontation on some priority issues, waiting for this to materialize and aware that up to now the confrontation has been lacking", said the secretary of the CGIL Sardinia Fausto Durante , emphasizing that issues such as education, the right to study, the labor market and the Pnrr must also be paid attention to.
