Sip protagonist at the Walk among the olive trees

The city of Sorso is preparing to participate in the VI National Day of the "Walk among the Olives" event promoted by the National Association of the City of Oil and by the Department of Productive Activities and Tourism of the Municipality of Sorso, in collaboration with the Producers Organization Assolisa and the Uggias Oil Mill.

The event, scheduled for Sunday 30 October , which involves 17 regions, will take place simultaneously throughout Italy and in Sorso, Città dell'Olio, an initiative that will lead to the discovery of the oldest olive groves in the area with a series of stages in which shown the cultivation, processing and transformation techniques with which the renowned local oil is obtained.

Along the way, participants will be able to take part in recreational activities , olive growing practices, practical demonstration of pruning and tasting of oils obtained from Bosana olives, typical products and wines of the territory. It starts from the Baronial Palace (via Convento, 10), to continue on an urban and peri-urban journey of two kilometers, with a walk through the streets of the town to then reach the olive groves in the countryside on the outskirts of the city.
