Roland Garros cursed for Jannik Sinner.

The world number 1 tennis player , who was one step away from winning the third set of his match against Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundolo, felt unwell, probably due to the heat.

The Italian continued to struggle , suffering a comeback from his opponent who eventually secured his place in the fifth set with a score of 3-6; 2-6; 7-5; 6-1; 6-1.

"I couldn't win more than three games. I was lucky," Cerundolo commented. " I feel sorry for Jannik, he deserves to win so many slams. I don't know what happened: the cramps, the heat... I hope he can recover as soon as possible ."
