Open until 12 March in the Sinnai library for the exhibition dedicated to the works of art by Giovanni Serra .

Among the most significant works is the one dedicated to the - very topical - theme of migrations , created with residual pieces of the boats used in recent years by migrants to reach the Sardinian coast.

Giovanni Serra, 69 years old, from an early age dedicated himself to sculpture and the relationship between man and nature, which later became the fundamental theme of his works. Serra likes to define himself as a " pupil of my ego ", since his brilliant career began as an autodidact , and then reached his own personal stylistic code.

The artist, protagonist of numerous solo and group exhibitions held in many places in Sardinia, in Rome and in Grenoble, has a particular bond with Sinnai , which he chose since 1995 for an exhibition in the municipal art gallery and which he honors with his presence on the occasion of cultural and sporting events, for which he often donates works.

The exhibition focuses on the contemporary sacred and legend .
