A few weeks ago the news of his relationship with Alessandro Cecchi Paone came out, and from that moment on for Simone Antolini, 23 years old, from the Marche region and student of Legal Sciences, it was "the end of the world".

He tells the Corriere della Sera: "I am young and very sensitive. Neighbors, people I see every day, have written horrible things that hurt me." Until a few days ago "I was loved by everyone, I think appreciated as a boy graceful and kind, all of a sudden I found myself dealing with people who went from esteeming me to disgusting me. One asked me: at least, does he pay you well? ".

Apart from malice, which in any case forced him to disappear from social networks for the moment, the story with the 60-year-old journalist and science writer works: “I wrote to him on Instagram. I was getting out of my first homosexual relationship. Previously, I had had a girlfriend for four years and had a lot of doubts. Watching TV in the pandemic, I discovered that Alessandro had had a wife. The similarity of experiences led me to follow him on social networks . We wrote to each other. I went to meet him in Rimini. We started talking a lot. It was April. I found in him a person who understands me, protects me ”.

As for the age difference, “Alessandro makes me feel good and that's what matters. I am totally lost of him. Since he entered my life, I feel sure of who I am , he has awakened in me an interest in art, science, history. I can listen to it for hours and that made me focus double on the study. It added to my life the desire to be better. He says that, with me, he is rejuvenating ”.
