The annual Intercultural Hospitality Festival , organized in Sardinia by the volunteers of the local center of Guspini-Medio Campidano, has concluded in Serramanna .

An appointment for sharing, comparison and intercultural education resumed this year after two years of restrictions due to the pandemic.

«Twenty-nine young people from various European and non-European countries met in Serramanna for a new shared experience. On Saturday morning they went around to get to know the middle schools and the villages of Serramanna, Samassi, Segariu, Furtei, Ussaramanna and Villacidro while in the afternoon they took part in the parade of Sant'Isidoro in Serramanna, among traccas and traditional masks of our island. Yesterday there was a lunch organized by the Sant'Ignazio committee together with all the boys, girls and their host families», says Alessandra Piredda , president of the Local Center of Guspini-Medio Campidano.

The young people were welcomed on Friday evening by the municipal administration with a well-attended welcome speech and the "Beni benius a Serramanna" in the Municipality by the mayor Gabriele Littera , who together with the Intercultura volunteers involved the young people in the initiatives that this weekend characterized the town in Medio Campidano, between open monuments and the colorful and deeply felt by the Serramannesi Festival of Sant'Isidoro.
