From 13 points last season to 26 this year, Cos is the Sardinian team that has improved the most since the first half of last season. Their points have doubled, and their position, which a year ago was considered second-to-last, now sees Sarrabus-Ogliastra just two points away from the playoffs. Fifth place, however, is occupied by another Sardinian team, newly promoted Budoni.
Latte Dolce has only one more point than in 2024 but is better positioned because last year it was ninth, 6 points behind the promotion play-offs and 3 points ahead of the play-offs. This year it is rounding the corner in seventh place, 4 points behind the play-offs and 5 ahead of the relegation play-offs.
Lastly, Olbia, who had 16 points in the previous championship but were fourth-last, two wins away from safety, are in the same position this year but with 19 points, which already put them on the verge of the play-offs given that they are in a trio that also includes sixth-last and fifth-last.
Finally, it should be noted that the two newly promoted teams, Cos and Monastir 1983 (both at 24 points), are performing significantly better than last year's two Sardinian teams, Ilvamaddalena and Atletico Uri, who were in the relegation-playout zone.
