This morning Olbia left for Campania, where they will face Ischia tomorrow in a one-off Serie D play-off match.

To survive, Daniele Livieri's team, who finished the regular season in third-to-last place, must win: given their lower standings compared to their opponents, a draw at the end of the match (which involves extra time but no penalties) would see the Whites relegated to the Eccellenza league.

The stakes are huge, but the good news is that Daniele Livieri's team has already conquered the Enzo Mazzella stadium this year in the league with a 3-1 victory and a hat-trick from Furtado, who is a candidate for a starting spot, especially given the possible absence of Ragatzu in attack: like Biancu and Viscovo, the Olbia captain has had physical problems that have forced him to miss several training sessions.

The Whites, however, are not lacking in resources, nor the desire to pull off what would be a feat, considering that the Gallura team risked direct relegation this year. Teams take to the field at 4:00 PM: referee Michele Buzzone of Enna assisted by Francesco Quattrotto of Messina and Luca Pongan of Biella, with Paolo Rodolfo Benestante of Aprilia as fourth official.
