Olbia has recovered Anelli in an emergency situation. The experienced defender, out of the squad since the start of the season, has been called up for the away match against Valmontone, scheduled for tomorrow at 2:30 PM at the municipal "Dei Gelsi" stadium.
Buschiazzo and Islam, who have not yet returned to base after the Christmas holidays, will be missing, as will Petrone due to injury. Thus, Anelli, who left for Rome this afternoon with 17 other players, will be back in contention for the away match on the second day of the Serie D season. Athletic trainer Giua and club manager Pecchi will be on the bench, while Carafa will be absent due to suspension.
For Olbia, who have slipped to fourth-last place in the relegation zone after three consecutive defeats and are currently undergoing a corporate transition following a change of ownership, a situation about which there has been total silence, the match against the fourth-placed team in Group G is not the easiest of games. But in football, as we know, there are no guaranteed results.
Valmontone-Olbia will be refereed by Francesco Palmisano of the Saronno section, assisted by Leonardo Grimaldi of Bari and Fabio Santo of Barletta.
