Serie D Group G returns to action on January 4th. At 2:30 PM, Olbia hosts Albalonga: a match—the Sardinians' first of 2026—that sees the Whites, fresh from yet another seasonal upset with the departure of coach Giancarlo Favarin on December 30th, eager to restart with a positive result at home. The Sardinian team, without a win in eight rounds and without a win at the "Bruno Nespoli" stadium since October 19th, has slipped into the playout zone and is aiming to distance itself from the top spot in the table. Goalkeeping coach Fabrizio Carafa will be on the bench. Albalonga, a Lazio team with five more points than the Whites, are coming off five straight away defeats.
Meanwhile, the derby between Latte Dolce and Costa Orientale Sarda has been confirmed for January 6th.
Monastir-Budoni (2:30 p.m.), one of the fixtures that most captures the attention of the island's fans, has also been postponed to Epiphany. Monastir closed out a more than positive year with one point from its last two league games, coming from an excellent draw with Nocerina to a 2-2 draw in the final round before the break, with a 2-1 defeat against Palmese.
Budoni, on the other hand, comes into the match with a strong standing: after a brilliant run of five consecutive victories, the Gallura team has collected just one point in their last three matches of 2025, interrupting their positive streak but still remaining among the main protagonists of the group.
