No way, Torres failed to win on their home field. They played well, creating at least five clear scoring opportunities, but in the end, it was only a 0-0 draw against Vis Pesaro, who took away an undeserved point. The Sassari team, however, missed the chance to escape the play-off zone.

The first half was dominated by the Rossoblu, with six clear moves and three golden chances to break the deadlock: Sorrentino hit the left post in the 8th minute, Di Paola was in front of the line to block Luciani's shot in the 20th minute, and the goalkeeper leapt to deflect Sala's shot in the 46th minute. The visitors were lively but only threatened in the 29th minute, when Di Paola entered the box after a double dribble but missed the target.

The pace slowed in the second half, but Torres tried again: in the 66th minute, Di Stefano fed Sala into the box, whose angle was powerless, and the goalkeeper reached it. In the 78th minute, Sorrentino's free kick hit the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Sala was shown a second yellow card, leaving the Rossoblu with ten men. At the end, Sorrentino was held lightly. No penalty was awarded, even after the FVS images.
