Torres is the only team that has already done better than last season, 47 points compared to the 41 total in 2022/23. No other team has exceeded the quota reached in the entire last championship. And he even did it before the first round had finished.

Statistical consideration: the pace maintained by Cesena and Torres is record-breaking. If the two leaders of group B continue with this average they will end up with 93 and 89 points respectively. Crazy stuff. Suffice it to say that in the last twenty-team seasons the record is held by Modena (2021/22 championship) with 88 points, while last year Reggiana was promoted with 81 points, in 2020/21 Perugia and Padova finished tied at the top at 79 and even Pordenone in 2018/19 won group B with just 73 points.

It is difficult to think that Cesena and Torres can continue to race like this, but in the meantime they have accumulated a notable advantage over their pursuers: Carrarese, third in the standings, is a good 12 points away.
