Olbia announces that the coach for next season, the eighth consecutive season in Serie C, will not be Roberto Occhiuzzi.

With an official note, the club confirms the rumors circulated in the last week on the possibility that the streets will part. "The Company announces that the professional relationship undertaken with the coach Roberto Occhiuzzi will not continue in the 2023/2024 season", reads the press release issued today, at lunchtime, by Olbia Calcio, which also reports the comment of the sporting director of the Tomaso Tatti whites. “After discussing it at the end of the championship and thinking with a clear head about the future, we felt that the best choice was to take different paths,” explains the Gallura diesse, without specifying the reasons for the non-renewal. Or, rather, the "breakup".

“The club had constant and full trust in his work and that of the staff and the whole team, even when things weren't going the right way”, adds Tatti, who concludes by addressing Occhiuzzi “best wishes for the future and thanks for the professionalism, commitment and dedication shown and, more generally, for a piece of road traveled together which has given so much to Olbia as a club and to him as a coach”.

On the corporate front, the statements of the president Alessandro Marino on the willingness to "listen to the club's takeover proposals" remain good. But in the meantime something is moving, and evidently not only in terms of registration procedures for the next championship. Olbia announces that the coach for next season, the eighth consecutive season in Serie C, will not be Roberto Occhiuzzi.
