Serie A, four big names on the pitch without a coach: Gasp, Inzaghi, Spalletti and Mourinho disqualified
The sports judge ordered a stop turn for “ironic or disrespectful” phrases at the referee's address
The coaches of four big Serie A champions will not be on the bench on the tenth day of the week.
These are Gianpiero Gasperini (Atalanta), Luciano Spalletti (Naples), Josè Mourinho (Rome) and Simone Inzaghi (Inter), all four expelled and all four disqualified by the sports judge.
Spalletti, according to the Serie A sports judge, would have "assuming an ironic attitude, addressed disrespectful expressions to the referee".
Same reasons for Gasperini ("disrespectful expressions"), fined as Spalletti with 5,000 euros, and Inzaghi ("for having blatantly and vehemently contested an arbitration decision").
Finally, Mourinho pays a double yellow card.
