The Ministry of the Interior has taken a hard line following last Sunday's clashes between Fiorentina and Roma ultras, who were travelling to their respective away matches in Bologna and Turin.

Both sets of fans will be banned from further away travel until the end of the football season . The clashes on the A1 motorway, during which several cars were damaged, broke out between the Cantagallo service station and the Bologna Casalecchio exit.

In addition to the unpleasant incidents of last Sunday, the measure also refers to other serious precedents , both in Italy and abroad, involving Viola and Giallorossi fans.
