Sennori, four appointments for the “Tottu a Teatro” festival
Starting Sunday 12 November at 7pm with “Gran Caffè Astra”
Everything is ready in Sennori for the "Tottu a Teatro" festival . The event , organized with the patronage of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Municipality of Sennori and the Sardinia Foundation, will start on Sunday 12 November, at 7pm, with "Gran Caffè Astra" , a work by Mario Rubino inspired by the Café chantant genre of French Belle Époque, staged directed by Alfredo Ruscitto and Mario Rubino. For this first performance , entry will be free .
On November 26th, again from 7pm, a double event will be staged: the Sassari Theater Company will bring to the stage “Dalla Window”, by Georges Feydeau, directed by Mario Rubino, and “La Notti Chi la Mamma è Mostha”, an adaptation by Mario Lubino from “The Lady's Good Soul Mother”, also by Georges Feydeau. Third appointment on Sunday 3 December, at the same time, with “La brea”, by Giovanni Enna directed by Mario Lubino.
The last show is scheduled for January 5th, at 8.30pm, with “La Madre”, from the 1919 novel written by Grazia Deledda, adapted and directed by Ignazio Chessa.
Residents in the municipality of Sennori will be entitled to a discount on the entrance ticket for all performances .
«We are pleased to re-propose the theater festival in the Sardinian language, which gives continuity to all the projects wanted by the municipal administration to maintain the cultural traditions of all of Sardinia, thus also hosting companies that perform in the local dialects», declared the deputy mayor and councilor for culture, Elena Cornalis.
