An important collection of vestiges of the past that will be accessible to many enthusiasts and schools, with possible tourist development for the entire Montiferru.
The collection was made possible thanks to the active collaboration between the Municipality and the Superintendency of the province of Oristano-Cagliari, the responsible superintendent Alessandro Usai comments: « It is a dutiful restitution to the local and regional community of the results of the continuous archaeological research that has been carried out over the course of many years ».
In the typical Scanese house, the archaeological finds of Nuracale and the territory will be present and finally visible : ceramics, bronze tools, architectural fragments, lamps and other important vestiges witnessing the ancient Nuragic settlements.
The intention is to "preserve and promote the identity of our community, eager to enhance the historical heritage of our territory, to favor its integrated development", explains the mayor Antonio Flore Motzo. The entire logistical process and work to equip the typical house will begin soon, as soon as everything is ready it will be open to the public to be visited and discover the ancient past of the Scanese territory .
