Next Saturday, June 14, after four years of intense and passionate work, “ Il Cammino di Bonaria ” will be officially presented and delivered to the municipalities. A dream come true: 353 kilometers of emotions, fatigue, spirituality and authentic beauty. From the beating heart of Gallura, with the Basilica of San Simplicio in Olbia, to the majestic Basilica of Bonaria in Cagliari, the Cammino winds through breathtaking views, ancient stories and welcoming communities.

Twenty-nine towns, nineteen municipal territories, nine geographical regions - from Barbagia to Marmilla, from Baronia to Trexenta - all united by a single common thread: the desire to rediscover the deepest meaning of travel and encounter. Over 200 volunteers, women and men united by a spirit of generosity and sharing, have made this project possible in these 4 years. The appointment is on Saturday at 10:00 at the Basilica of Bonaria in Cagliari. After the celebration of the Holy Mass by Father Eugenio Caramia, Rector of the Sanctuary, and after the speeches by the President of the Region Alessandra Todde and the Mayor of Cagliari Massimo Zedda, and in the presence of dozens of mayors, the president of the association Il Cammino di Bonaria” Antonello Menne will present the project.

There will be testimonies from pilgrims, mayors and representatives of other routes. On the same day, a practical guide will be available (on newsstands with L'Unione Sarda from June 14) and a website to download the digital tracks of each stage for free. The official delivery of the route will follow and everything will end with a convivial moment
