Those who do it themselves make for three. And so on Wednesday for the Music Festival students of the "Canepa" Conservatory of Sassari will be present with different formations at three events .

The start at 18 in the garden of the "GA Sanna" Museum of Sassari , with the performance of the Youth Orchestra of the Conservatory, composed of 32 elements and directed by teachers Efisio Abis and Antonello Mura, which proposes music by Bizet, Shostakovich, Nelson and traditional songs.

At 7 pm, for the "Wednesdays at the Conservatory" concert in Sala Sassu by the Ensemble Rosa dei Venti, formed for the occasion by Martina Porcheddu (flute), Cristiana Nuvoli (clarinet), Vittoria Mura (oboe), Danilo Ogno (horn), Giovanna Virdis (bassoon) and Alessandro Virdis (piano). The program includes music by Rimsky-Korsakov and Poulenc.

Grand finale in Alghero , one of the three major venues of the 2023 Music Festival together with Palermo and Sciacca in Sicily. From 10pm the jazz musicians of the "Canepa", together with their counterparts of the "Toscanini" of Ribera (Agrigento), will be guests at Lo Quarter immediately after the concert by trumpeter Enrico Rava, broadcast live on RaiPlay.

The students of the two conservatories will play together in a joint big band , directed by the teachers Gavino Mele of the "Canepa" and Giacomo Tantillo of the "Toscanini".
