The 5S group of Sassari responds to senator Ettore Licheri. Last Friday, the regional coordinator of the Cinquestelle sent a letter to the four announcing the opening of expulsion proceedings after their refusal to leave the Campus majority.

«We have worked silently and profitably, even in the pandemic - they write to senators Maurilio Murru, Laura Useri, Patrizia Zallu and Federico Sias - without ever disregarding the expectations and orientations of the national leaders, who never hinted at a change of course or a remodulation of its activity during construction. Therefore the fury towards us is even more incomprehensible."

A change in political directions due, it is presumed, to the leadership role in the broad progressive camp, entrusted to Todde, with the alliance, among others, with the Democratic Party, opponent of the 5S in the Municipality. "Moreover, withdrawing from the current majority just 7 months before the next elections - they continue - is almost senseless, and would only produce confusion among the electorate who would like to support us in the next regional elections."

The four praise the policies carried out over the years by the civic administration.

"The work done so far is tangible and will improve the life of the city and its inhabitants over time, also thanks to the contribution we will continue to make through our electoral program and the shared projects that are part of it." The comparison therefore continues and no reverse action is foreseen.

«We await - they conclude, turning to Licheri - with serenity and profound respect the convocation by the guarantee bodies provided for by our statute, so as to have the possibility of adducing deeds and documents in support of the goodness of our action, shared by you from the beginning and by the national M5S".

Todde herself announced her expulsion last Saturday. "It doesn't appear to us - the 4 five stars reply - that the presidential candidate has the possibility of starting a similar procedure".
