Six international courses, one out of ten considering that there are 61 degree courses in total, 36 with open access and 26 with admission tests. The University of Sassari expands the training offer, but above all adapts it to the needs of the territory, as underlined by the rector Gavino Mariotti in the presentation conference held in the Aula Magna.

Once the "competition" disappeared, the Tolc Meds (the online tests, almost 4,000 candidates in the two sessions) have just closed and the good news is that the Ministry has granted the increase of 60 places, therefore the places available are 200. "We obtained it to meet the shortage of doctors on our island", explained the magnificent rector.

After the decline recorded in the two years of Covid, the number of enrolled students is recovering and enrollments register a +2.53% which is equivalent to 3,795 students against 3,701 freshmen last year. And this figure is linked to the lowest rate of school dropout in Italy.

Furthermore, thanks to international scholarships, the University of Sassari has a double percentage of graduates compared to the Italian average who have also taken exams abroad.
