A project born with the aim of establishing a network of primary producers, processors and traders, and giving life to a real cooperation. And in the background the promotion of cheeses from the Gal Bmg area. The final event of the "Bmg cheese short supply chain" project will take place in Sarule on Saturday and Sunday, starting from 10am. The scene will be all about the products of Barbagia, Mandrolisai and Gennargentu.

The heart of the island wants to bet on the excellence of the table. The first “Cheese Festival of the Gal Bmg area” makes the intentions clear. Over the weekend Sarule will welcome, in San Bernardino, with tastings and typical dishes based on cheeses and derivatives. There will be demonstrations of the various milk processing techniques. All possible thanks to Gal Bmg and the cooperative Unione pastori di Sarule, with a project financed within the Psr Sardegna 2014-2020. «We aim to improve company competitiveness and strengthen the role of farmers - explain the producers -. Facilitating direct access to markets, in order to address the problems due to the seasonality of production and inadequate distribution of products."
