A concert in Lviv, already done, and one in Kiev, staged tomorrow: the world-famous guitarist from Cagliari Simone Onnis has decided to "testify his affection and closeness to the Ukrainian people" .

Yesterday he performed at the National Opera House and today he is on his way to reach the capital of the country at war, where the stage of the famous Philharmonic is ready.

Onnis, 47, is one of the most accomplished six-string virtuosos in the world. He was the first Sardinian to perform at New York's Carnagie Hall: one of the many medals pinned on his resume.

The two Ukrainian stages of the great musician from Cagliari are greeted with enthusiasm by the Italian ambassador in Kiev Pier Francesco Zazo : "Maestro Onnis, in agreement with our Cultural Institute, wanted to include his tour in this dramatic moment. Music confirms itself as an extraordinary vehicle of peace and closeness between our two peoples ”.
