Interviewed today at the Sassari police station by the Carabinieri as persons informed of the facts surrounding the death of William Manca, found deceased last September 10 in the Bancali countryside.

The five people suspected of having spent the last evening he was seen alive with the 45-year-old, Saturday 6 September, were also searched in their homes and were questioned by the military this morning after being summoned.

At this time, the case remains against unknown persons, but further details have emerged, such as the thoracic fracture found by the medical examiner on the man's body, possibly resulting from a presumed struggle. This trauma did not cause death, but it certainly provides additional evidence for investigators.

Furthermore, the Carabinieri, coordinated in the investigation by Deputy Prosecutor Ermanno Cattaneo, who is in charge of the case, acquired the images from the cameras pointed directly at the illegal landfill where William was found.

These recordings could shed light on how the 45-year-old arrived there after being last seen, along with several companions, at a club in Bancali. The results of toxicology tests, once they arrive, could finally provide an explanation for Manca's death. The potential criminal charges investigators are working on are abandonment and concealment of a body.
