The entire line, about 80 meters long, will be completely redone. The pipeline brings water to the commercial and artisanal activities of Is Pontis Paris, in front of the fire department headquarters on Viale Marconi . "It consists of six large steel pipes, each twelve meters long," explains the company. "Plus the special anchoring and connection pieces to the pipelines on both sides of the bridge."

"The intervention was prepared to address the critical issues of the old pipes that are subject to continuous leaks," concludes Abbanoa, "which are followed by constant repair interventions. The works have been included among the priorities of the maintenance plan of the Cagliari District ." The old pipes are anchored to the crossing of the Terramaini canal.
