Once again the budget has run out: citizens must pay for visits and tests in accredited private centers in full or postpone them.

The alarm was raised in a note sent to Councillor Armando Bartolazzi signed by Confapi Sardegna, Mednet, Sapmi and Federlab, the trade unions representing accredited private healthcare facilities that have entrusted the management of the "dispute" to lawyer Stefano Porcu.

They ask for an urgent meeting and propose a plan to eliminate waiting times for specialist services.

A 20% increase in current funding would be enough to provide concrete answers to the thousands of Sardinians who are currently forced to postpone treatment , and it would be a significant breath of fresh air for healthcare waiting lists.
