Tomorrow could be an important day in the search for the two divers who disappeared yesterday morning in the waters of Villasimius. The truth about what happened could be revealed by the Navy robot arrived from Genoa which should be used from the early hours of the morning.

There is great apprehension in the town after the searches carried out today also brought no results. A small rov used by the firefighters would not have spotted anything around the San Marco ship for which the two divers made the dive in the late morning. But this means little given that the light opening of this rov is very limited, therefore not allowing a clear view of the site.

Stefano Bianchelli and Mario Pernicciano disappeared yesterday morning in the sea area of Villasimius , between the islands of Serpentara and Cavoli .

To guarantee 360 degree searches throughout the day, the searches were extended to the coast and around the two islands: many men aboard dinghies searched the coast from the sea. «Unfortunately without any result» said Antonello Fulghesu, of the Club sub Sinnai . «We operated around Serpentara with the boat and binoculars: a very slow observation journey. We have found no trace of the two missing people."

The mayor of Villasimius Luca Dessì knew the two divers very well: «Two professionals who often moved together. Bianchelli arrived at the end of the nineties and never left Villasimius: he was a super expert, he knew the dangers of the sea. I can not understand. Await news. The disappearance of the two divers is causing great dismay in the town. Everyone is hoping for a miracle." There is fear for their fate: among the hypotheses, an illness that could have affected one of the divers or both divers. Or that they were entangled in the wreckage. But these are just hypotheses and nothing more.
