The Carabinieri of the Villaputzu and Muravera stations in action together with the San Vito firefighters to secure a truck near the temporary bridge over the Flumendosa river, in Villaputzu: the vehicle was at risk of overturning after the right wheels ended up on the edge of the temporary carriageway.
To ensure safety and allow the recovery operations of the vehicle, traffic was blocked by the Arma patrols. The truck was then secured by the men of 115.
The timely intervention allowed us to avoid further damage and ensure the resumption of normal traffic in a short time.
The Carabinieri will continue to monitor the stability of the temporary roadway to prevent other similar situations from occurring.
