Villacidro: A 22-year-old man was thrown from his motorcycle and fell 8 meters into a ravine.

Serious road accident in the late afternoon, around 5pm, in Villacidro , along a mountain road.

A 22-year-old man, riding a motorcycle, lost control of the vehicle and went off the road, falling more than 8 meters down a cliff.

The young man was airlifted to Bortzu Hospital with a red code. He is in serious condition but not life-threatening.

The Carabinieri were also on site.
