The Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office has opened two investigations – following complaints from two young women – regarding images and videos published on Phica.eu, the now-closed sexist web forum where stolen images of women ended up, followed by a flood of vulgar and offensive comments .

One case concerns the dissemination of an intimate video , for which three people have been accused of revenge porn , while the second case concerns defamation for some stolen photos on social media and then shared on the controversial site.
