The clues are there and they are heavy (from the lie denied by the witness about having gone to his parents' house on the morning of December 5th to the money transfers in his account), what is missing - at least for the moment - is the proof that the former commercial agent Luigi Gulisano and his wife Marisa Dessì, aged 79 and 82, were killed by their youngest son, Claudio , arrested at the end of December on suspicion of having poisoned his parents.

Since this morning, the specialists of the Carabinieri Scientific Investigations Department have begun analyzing, in search of the "smoking gun", the mountain of evidence seized in four inspections: unrepeatable tests on telephones, food remains, fingerprints, chemical substances and objects taken from the home where - on the afternoon of December 5 - the couple's 44-year-old son had found his parents lifeless, slumped in the home's study.

Also present were the lawyers of the two Gulisano brothers: lawyer Luigi Sanna defends Claudio, who has been in prison for almost two weeks, while his colleague Gianluca Aste assists the elder, Davide (46 years old), who is not under investigation and is considered by the Prosecutor's Office to be an injured party.
